Plans, billing and uninstalling
What each plan includes, how billing works, and what happens to your stock and data when you leave.

A pool is one bottle, bag or sack. The sizes sold from it don't count separately: a fragrance sold in 2, 5 and 10 ml is one pool.
Billing
Plans are billed by Shopify, on your store's regular Shopify invoice. To change plan, open Settings in Carboy and press Change plan; Shopify's plan page opens. The same section shows your current plan and how many pools you use.
Reaching your limit
When you have as many pools as your plan includes, Create pool and Set up many are switched off and the Pools page links to the plans. The pools you have keep working as before.
Uninstalling
- Carboy stops working with your store the moment you uninstall.
- Your stock numbers in Shopify stay exactly as Carboy last set them. Nothing drops to zero.
- 48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify asks Carboy to delete your store's data, and Carboy deletes your pools, sizes, activity and settings.
Your data
Carboy stores your pools, the variants linked to them, and a log of stock movements with order and refund numbers. It doesn't store customer names, emails, addresses or payment details: from each order it reads the line items and quantities and nothing else. The privacy page has the details.
